Common questions

Why can't I see other guests' photos yet?

Fable holds every photo back until the event's reveal time. Only you and the host can see photos you upload before then. Ask the host what reveal time they picked.

How do I invite guests?

On the host dashboard, tap Share. The app can share a link, or you can tap Print QR poster to get a physical sheet you can put on a table or at the entrance.

Do guests need to install the app?

No. iPhone guests can scan the QR and use the built-in App Clip. Android and desktop guests are routed to the Fable web camera.

How do I upgrade an event?

From Settings → Plan → Upgrade, pick the tier you need. All payments go through Apple. Upgrades apply to a single event. You can restore prior purchases on a new device from the same paywall.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Danger → Delete account. This deletes your user row, memberships, hosted events, uploaded photos, reactions, and device tokens from our backend. It cannot be undone.

How do I stop notifications?

Settings → Notifications inside Fable to toggle categories, or iOS Settings → Notifications → Fable to fully disable pushes at the OS level.

Report a problem

If you see content in an event that violates our Terms, contact jakub.zitko@icloud.com with the event code and a description. The host of an event can also remove individual photos from their host dashboard, and can remove guests through the guest list.
